If 100 persons lived in the Nordics 37 would be Swedish, 21 would be Danish, 20 would be Finnish, 20 would be Norwegian, 1 would be Icelandic and 1 would be either Greenlander, Faroese or Ålander.

If 100 persons lived in the Nordics 50 would be male and 50 would be female.

If 100 persons lived in the Nordics 23 would be 19 years or younger, 59 would between 20 and 64 years and 18 would be 65 years or older. As seen in the diagram below the age distribution is similar for the Nordics and the EU28 while on a worldwide basis the younger group is relatively larger and the older group is relatively smaller.
